Is a Project born in Mexico City, Established by Christian Márquez and Eliot Castro,shaping the band with: Miky Ivre, Javier Trocino,  Montserrat Muñoz  and Ricardo Anguiano, all of these guys from this great Tenochtitlan.

The Project was made to present the material at live with Live acts are based on great quality and playing different instruments at the same time each one of the musicians on the stage, astonishing versatility and detailed rhythmic execution.

Their musical content is influenced by Mexican folklore, and its derivatives, merged with contemporary alternative world music genres.

Within this concept they mix traditional Mexican instruments like Jarana and Guitarron with popular instruments like Bass,Drums, Tuba, Saxophone,Trumpet,Clarinet and street artifacts like plastic buckets.

Polvora pretends to invite the listeners to revaluate Mexican essence in a fresh and original manner, generating conscience in order to spread what is actually cooking in Mexico to all generations.
